Pamela Bottomley‘s background includes years as a journalist—including stints with the Winnipeg Free Press, The Vancouver Sun and The Northern Miner—before beginning her career in public relations, strategic planning and communications management.
She left her role as PR director for a major Vancouver advertising agency in 1991 and moved to her Nanoose Bay acreage where she operated Pamela Bottomley Public Relations until joining the PDBA in September 2011.
Pam is an accredited member of the Canadian Public Relations Society and has studied business law and organization behaviour. She has served in many volunteer capacities in our community and is the Past-president of the Parksville-Qualicum Fish and Game Association.
