Hey kids, what do you have planned for Spring Break? How about the Spring Break Kidz Zone at Memorial Plaza in Parksville on March 17, 19 and 21?  It’s a Plaza full of kids’ fun! Enjoy games, music, and more, while enjoying your week away from… you know… school!

Grab your takeout or snag some delicious bites from our food trucks, then head over to Memorial Plaza for an alfresco dining extravaganza under the cool shade of our historic elm trees! We’ve got plenty of tables and chairs set up, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your meal in comfort. Enjoy a live serenade from local musicians while the little ones dive into a world of fun—giant bubbles, hopscotch, chalk art, and tons of other exciting activities await. Over 40 participating businesses are coming together to create an eerie and enchanting experience for families of all ages. This year’s Spooktacular Halloween Treat Trail promises a night of frightening fun, as we celebrate the most haunted holiday of the year. Venture into the eerie downtown core of Parksville and be part of the ghostly fun. The Halloween Treat Trail is guaranteed to provide a spook-tacular time for all who dare to join us. Trick-or-treaters and their families are invited to explore the heart of Parksville, discovering the chilling and captivating surprises that await.

Join us for Holiday Sparkle: Parksville Downtown Tree Lighting Celebration on Friday, November 21, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM at Memorial Plaza! Enjoy a festive evening filled with holiday cheer, featuring a Christmas singalong, free popcorn and hot chocolate, kids’ activities, and a special mailbox for letters to Santa. Santa and Mrs. Claus will make a magical appearance to greet children and kick off the holiday season as the downtown Christmas tree lights up the night.
