Held in conjunction with the famous Craig Street Summer by the Sea Market.  Every Tuesday beginning June 9, the streets come alive with vendors, food trucks, music, and people enjoying the best of summer. Grab dinner from one of the many delicious food vendors and join us under the shade of the beautiful heritage elm trees at Memorial Plaza from 6–9pm. With more than 40 downtown businesses opening their doors to welcome trick-or-treaters, this family-friendly Halloween event is packed with sweet treats, festive fun, and plenty of spooky surprises. As you explore the streets of Parksville Downtown, be sure to stop by Memorial Plaza where eerie entertainment, spooky happenings, and Halloween excitement will be taking over the heart of downtown. Bring the whole family and enjoy a safe, welcoming, and delightfully spooky Halloween celebration in Parksville Downtown!

  Get ready for one of Parksville Downtown’s messiest and most entertaining traditions — The Great Parksville Downtown Pumpkin Smash! Join us on November 1 at 1:00pm in Memorial Plaza as our incredible Parksville Firefighters and Rescue team lift Halloween pumpkins high into the air on the top of their firetruck ladder before dropping them into the centre of the Plaza for a smashing good time! Bring your carved pumpkins, enjoy the excitement, and help support a great cause with donations going to the Firefighters Assistance Fund. It’s a fun, family-friendly way to wrap up the Halloween season in the heart of Parksville Downtown!

Kick off the holiday season at the Parksville Holiday Sparkle Celebration on November 20 from 5:30–7:30pm in Memorial Plaza! Gather with friends, family, and neighbours in the heart of Parksville Downtown for an evening filled with holiday magic, festive music, and sparkling lights. Enjoy the excitement as the downtown holiday tree is officially illuminated, listen to cheerful seasonal performances, and keep an eye out for a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus! With the Plaza glowing for the season and the community coming together to celebrate, the Holiday Sparkle Celebration is the perfect way to welcome the spirit of the holidays to Parksville Downtown.

Ring in 2027 with the whole family at Happy Noon Year in Memorial Plaza! Starting at 10:30am, Parksville Downtown will be filled with music, laughter, and family fun as we celebrate the arrival of the New Year a little earlier in the day. Enjoy an energetic party with DJ Connor, facepainting, craft-making, cupcake decorating, and plenty of activities for kids and families to enjoy together. Then, count down to the highlight of the event — a festive balloon drop at noon! It’s a fun, welcoming, and memorable way to celebrate the New Year in the heart of Parksville Downtown.
